Learning for an AI-enabled economy

Build the capacity to shape what comes next.

Agency is a new way to prepare for work and society: understand what you already know, keep learning throughout life, practice what matters, and make your capabilities visible without reducing yourself to a score.

Learning is not a phase. It is how we remain capable, connected, and able to act.
Why Agency

AI changes the tools. People still need judgment, purpose, and room to grow.

Qualifications and job titles tell only part of a person’s story. Agency helps people turn learning, work, care, projects, and lived experience into an understandable record of capability—then build the next layer deliberately.

01

Learning for life

Follow a path that changes with your goals, available time, experience, and the world around you. No fixed finish line and no one-size-fits-all curriculum.

02

Self-education with structure

Turn curiosity into practice. Agency helps you choose trustworthy resources, examine ideas, make useful things, reflect, and improve with feedback.

03

Recognition that means more

Give employers and collaborators evidence of how you think, learn, communicate, and contribute—not merely where you studied or what title you held.

The commons promise

Money should never be a barrier to learning.

Agency is part of the commons: shared infrastructure for human learning and capability. There is no charge for your account, access, passport, or education. Support may come from voluntary donations, aligned sponsors, and carefully governed advertising—but never from interrupting a learner’s journey with fundraising.

A different starting point

Begin with a conversation, not an application form.

The first interview helps Agency understand your context before it suggests what to learn or how to demonstrate it.

  1. Tell your storyWho you are, what you do now, what experience has shaped you, and what you want to make possible.
  2. Review what the AI heardCorrect assumptions, add missing context, and decide what feels accurate. The interview is editable—not a verdict.
  3. Create your private workspaceSave the assessment to your account, revisit it, offer feedback, or take it again as your life changes.
  4. Build evidence through practiceFollow a personal path, create real work, and choose what you want others to see.
For employers and institutions

Recognize capability without relying on blunt proxies.

Agency is designed to make opportunity requirements clearer and fairer. Employers can define what good work requires, separate essential capabilities from trainable ones, and review relevant evidence with the learner’s consent.

Organizations may pay for job postings and different levels of recruiting access. Learners do not pay to be considered, and every view of personal evidence remains governed by learner consent.
